Building Reciprocal and In-kind Partnership Programs with Miami Beach Hotels, Attractions, and International Media

While at The Bass, I create a reciprocal benefits program to entice partnerships with local hotels and attractions on Miami Beach and the surrounding community. Coordinating with marketing, sales, and concierge leadership at hotels like the Moxy South Beach, the Shelbourne, AC Hotel, Miami Beach EDITION, the Plymouth, the Avalon, and others, I secured and negotiated trade-based partnerships with these attractions to grow museum attendance, generate demand, and build awareness for our programming, while also securing discounts and benefits for our visitors and members. Below is a sample of a partnership proposal deck that I created for this program. I also drafted the contract used to execute partnerships and had it reviewed and approved by our counsel.
Additionally, I worked with local and international publications and media outlets like The Art Newspaper, Artsy, Art Circuits, CULTURED, Whitewall, The New Tropic, WLRN (South Florida Public Radio), Ocean Drive Magazine, and Miami Magazine, among others, to develop in-kind negotiations, trading advertising exposure in exchange for media sponsorship credit and distribution at the museum.
